Privacy here is a short document because OB Hardware Plus keeps very little.

What we collect
- Order details — name, shipping and billing address, email, telephone, and the items ordered.
- Account details — only if you create an account: email, a password hash, saved addresses.
- Support messages — whatever you write to us, kept alongside the related order.
- Technical data — IP address, browser type and pages visited, used for security and to keep the site working.
What we never see
This site never handles a full card number — the provider does, and tells us only whether the payment succeeded.
Why we hold it
- To pack, ship and track your order.
- To answer your emails and handle returns and warranty claims.
- To meet tax and accounting obligations, which require sales records to be kept.
- To detect and prevent fraudulent orders.
Who else sees it
Three parties: carrier, payment provider, and the companies that host this site and carry our email. All of them are bound to our instructions. Your data is not for sale.
How long we keep it
Tax rules fix order records at seven years. Emails go after two. Accounts last until you close them.
Your choices
A single email to [email protected] gets you a copy, a correction or a deletion. We answer within 1 business day.
Any newsletter we send includes an unsubscribe link in every message.
Children
Nothing here is directed at under-16s, and any such data is removed when found.
